Our Commitment to Strasburg

Sustainable, Dependable, Supportive.

Project Tallmadge will utilize cutting edge technology to ensure digital reliability through the use of cleaner backup energy sources and smart resource management.

  • Project Tallmadge will encourage a “near waterless” data center cooling design.

  • Takanock is utilizing a comprehensive sound model to limit sound impacts, and best available technology to reduce emissions.

  • Located near natural gas infrastructure to allow for cleaner backup generation and less reliance on coal.

  • Our natural gas turbines are a cleaner alternative to traditional diesel, and are designed to be powered by clean hydrogen in the future.

  • The project has the capability of sustainably maintaining operations even during prolonged power outages. This project has the potential to return unused power to the grid, supporting the community’s energy needs.

Invested, Collaborative, Transparent.

Takanock prioritizes transparent community engagement to ensure this investment benefits everyone.

  • Project Tallmadge is expected to significantly increase the tax revenue received by the town of Strasburg.

  • This project will bring hundreds of construction jobs and several permanent jobs to the region — all at wages above the area average.

  • Takanock is meeting with local leaders and has hosted an open house to understand their priorities and address any concerns about the project. Additional open houses will be planned as the project progresses.
